Animator Review: Richard Williams
Richard Williams Richard Williams is a Canadian-British animator, writer and voice actor who was born in 1933. He is well known for his work in progress feature film The Thief and the Cobbler as well as being the animation director for Who Framed Roger Rabbit which he won two Oscars for. He is the author of the well known book The Animator's Survival Kit. He is currently working on a series of animations which bring to life the lessons and teachings from his book The Animator's Survival Kit.

ReplyDeleteIf you're not following our third year blogs... you should be: if you're not, I want you to start with these two blogs, in so much as the types of projects here relate to your FSTS project - original scripts into animatics, requiring character design pipelines etc. I want you all to spend some time really looking at these projects because they are why you're doing what you're doing and why it's worth it - and why making your own animations from scratch is a really complex, challenging and exciting business!
